Putting On A Happy Face For Ocean Park

PEOPLE PUT ON THEIR HAPPY faces at the Ocean Park Day celebrations last Saturday. The day before had been summery, warm and muggy. But since the rain tends to make an appearance most years at the annual event, locals were prepared not to be deterred from having a good time.

Sometimes that included putting umbrellas over buggies ...

and discovering festive wonders under cover of tents.

The party atmosphere was topped with a little magic. Everyone seemed to be having a marvelous time despite the drops ...

knowing that the sun, as it always does, would eventually shine.

  8. You begin and end this post with a great big smile and I, for one, love that! Ocean Park is a captivating place, and with the added bonus of magic tricks and a party atmosphere, there's no way a little rain is going to spoil the wonder. True to Penelope's character, you lead the way in positive thinking, Maria.
