Eternal Renewal At Elgin Heritage Park

WHAT WAS and soon will be spilled out amid river, pond and stream at Elgin Heritage Park where last year's foliage was quietly stirring. Lovely muddles of plant life, past, present and future, coexisted simultaneously throughout the nearly two mile trail. Birds searched for vacancy signs and buds were escaping the remnants of a long cold winter. Here are the pictures I took during my visit.

    Dear Penelope - The world which is alive consists of all the stages of life, otherwise the world is ailing or dead. I like your eyes and heart that found these hidden beauties in nature, while many people would pass by without noticing or paying attention. There's something I must learn from you. The photos are so soothing. My favorites are 8th, 13th and 16th.

    Dreamlike, almost surreal scenes some of these! Beautiful -- my kind of walk. Glad you have beautiful Spring (and I miss 'normal' spring weather. Who lives in that house under the sign of 'Grumpy'?
