THIS PHOTO was snapped by my daughter months ago at an art gallery event in Vancouver. Filling an entire room with balloons is kinder to the environment than sending them adrift in the air. The image played in my mind as a metaphor for all the blocked creative potential, wishes and goals bursting to get loose and not yet realized.
